I decided to read this book because of how much my family loves reading books by James Patterson. It is the funniest book some of you will ever read. Jamie Grimm is an aspiring stand-up comedian who is in a wheelchair! When he gets the chance to compete to be Planet's Funniest Kid Comic, he has to compete. Jamie undergoes many twists and turns throughout the story and although he might win or lose, he has loving family and friends just around the corner. I love all the book on this series and recommend it to everybody!!!!!!!!!Almost 9 years agomai123sairam added a book review.

I love this book! I started reading it when my friend lent it to me. Then, I brought it to school and everyone started reading it. It shows that no matter what happens to you, you still have family and friends. It may look like a baby book but it is not. It is a great book that everyone should read.Almost 9 years agomai123sairam wants to read this book.

The book started when they just got left the WCKD’s maze. They successfully escaped the maze, but the next challenge that they need to face is the world, the flare, the cranks. My favorite character in this book is Minho, because he can cheer others up when they are in a hard situation, but he can also lead the whole group of boys seriously. Conflicts between characters start to happen, they are confused about who to trust. The amazing part about this book is that you can think about the situation that happened in different perspective. The perspective of the book that the story plot gave you makes you think that WCKD is bad, but when you look at the whole situation in WCKD’s perspective, they are trying to save live, why are they wrong? Trying to think in another perspective, such as Thomas and his other friends, WCKD is killing them to save other people, what’s the point? They didn’t deserve to die. When you look at Teresa’s perspective, because she is struggling between the reality that what should she do. She didn't mean to betray the boys, I think she is confused about what she did too. I think this is the most interesting part about the books and makes people think that the world isn’t fair, life is cruel. This situation that they are going through this video is very hard to relate to our daily life as a middle school teenager, but the situation of sometimes looking or thinking at something in a different perspective might change the way we look at things and forget the bias about the object. I've felt something similar to the situation that Thomas faced in the story, got betrayed by someone that he trust the most, when I'm in 5th grade, I told something secret to my best friend but she ended up telling others and make fun of me behind my back. If I can change something about this story, I'll like to change the ending a little, because I think the ending is too rush. I strongly recommend this book and also there is a movie of this book that came out called "the scorch trials". It's absolutely amazing. Whoever enjoys young adult such as the Hunger games will also love this book as well.Almost 9 years agomai123sairamliked a comment in The Scorch Trials (Maze Runner, Book Two).
Scorch Trials is the second book in the Maze runner series and the story just can't get any better! The story begins where the Gladers have escaped the maze and are send to WCKD's head quarters. At first, they thought finding a way out of the maze means freedom, but a far more challenging adventure is ahead of them: the Scorch and the insane world full of cranks. My favorite character in this book is definitely Brenda because she is fearless, open about her feelings, strong, and confident. Even though she knew about Thomas's feelings for Teresa, she is still determined to get Thomas to Safe Haven. I think it's really confusing as to who WCKD really is, but also an interesting question to think about. If you think about it broadly from Thomas's perspective, it'd seem like they're putting them to danger, murdering tons of innocent people, and have took away the people's memories and freedom. On the other hand, they're actually trying to rescue the human race. Overall, I think this book is amazing and exciting and people should definitely read it if they liked the first book. It's full of even more action, romance, mysteries, heart-breaking betrayals, and more for you to read about!Almost 9 years ago
