I loved the movie! Really fun plot, overall humor to the whole thing, and a not-particularly-predictable plot.

Really fun and happy :D. I loved the whole plot, and recommend all movies from the same studio. I would recommend it to kids ages 7 - 107! Made me feel happy and warm ;)

This movie is really fun :). I liked the special effects and humor. But I liked the newer version (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) better. Partly because it has Johnny Depp in it and partially because it is slightly more funny. Overall good movie.

I absolutely LOOOOOVE this movie! It is almost completely lined up with the book, and I really like everything about this! A definite recommend for kids ages 9 - 16. There are a lot of little underlying plot details, and I think anyone under 8 or 9 will not pick up on them and understand the movie as well.

I like this book, though I do believe that it was written for younger audiences. I am in 7th grade. Overall, good job on the book, and it is entertaining, but not a favorite.

This book is awesome! Did you know that Brian Selznick wrote his books with the inspiration of movies? He tried to recreate a movie with his writing style and the picture-dense book style as well.

I love this book! I read it for my Creative Writing class and I am in 7th grade. I really want to read the sequel (The Lord of Opium) soon. This book has lots of emotion, description, and ups and downs. I think I enjoyed this book the most because it makes everything seem so real. A definite recommendation.
