I really liked the beginning of the book. I liked how Lisa explained the system of the purge. I also liked how descriptive the first couple chapters were. Overall, my favorite book series!! I don’t like Harry Potter or Percy Jackson so I am shocked I like this. But the way Lisa McMann wrote it is just wonderful!! I was so happy Simber came back at the beginning. Also who else knew that the dots were from the painting because I did and I was like urging Alex saying that they were the dots. Overall, I thought it was interesting how they got Sam&Lani, also when are they getting the mom, I think that it the next book!!
