- I enjoyed this movie a lot. Great characters, graphics, and plot. I liked Cloud Cuckoo Land and all the Master Builders. It used several LEGO themes, including Harry Potter, Star Wars, Marvel Heroes, and Lord of the Rings. Fun message, too. However, nothing is completely perfect. Some jokes are aimed at an older audience and might be harder for younger kids to understand. There are also some bad messages, for example, the so-called 'Master Builders' laughing at poor 'Special' Emmet for his silly but creative ideas. They think what they do is better than what he does. Not a good example for younger kids, because that is really just bullying. Also, I frowned several times at the moments when Emmet and someone else (who was in a relationship with Batman) tried to hold hands. Not a good example. Emmet does 'get the girl' by the end of the movie, but there is almost no lovey-dovey stuff for those of you who don't enjoy that. Fantastic movie overall.
- it was awesome and loved it beacuse it had legos in it. It just gets you pumd up and stuff.
- I really enjoyed this movie! Fantastic characters and plot. Some jokes and ideas, however, might be hard for little kids to understand, so consider not taking younger kids as they may not get some references. It featured all sorts of LEGO themes, including Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Marvel Heroes. One thing to worry about is that all the "Master Builders" think they are the best and laugh at so-called "Special" Emmet for his silly ideas. They say some nasty things about some creative ideas, but they learn their lesson. I frowned a bit when it came to the times when Emmet and someone else tried to hold hands, as the girl was already in a relationship with someone else. In the end, Emmet does "get the girl", but there is little romance, so if you don't enjoy the lovey-dovey stuff, there is nothing to worry about. Overall a fantastic movie.
- arianna122over 11 yearsi dont relly like this i would give this a e
- this movie was really good! it kept me laughing from the intro, and won't stop until it ends! i LOVED the ending, actually, because it was really imaginative, but i don't really like *SPOILER ALERT: WARNING* the cheesy villain-seeing-how-bad-he-truly-is cliché. other than that, it was very good and i definitely recommend it if u want a light-hearted movie with great animation and tons of laughs! before u drag ur younger sibling to watch it with u, tho, make sure they're at least in second grade. some of the jokes and references won't be understood by tiny tots, so u might be wasting ur money. the thing that stuck in my mind the most about the movie was the "everything is awesome!" song. (its very catchy!)
