This is an awesome movie, and definitely a must watch. Mockingjay part one was beautifully filmed, and the effects and background music was effective. Plus, the cinematography was phenomenal. I believe that this is the movie that really gets into Katniss's emotions and family. She survived two Hunger Games, and millions are depending on her power against the capitol. President Snow is even closer to destroying her, and all she wants is to run away. Run away from the capitol, the people depending on her and District 13. She just wishes it was the way it was, Katniss and Gale hunting in the Meadow in peace. This movie gives the message that sometimes things can be rough, but you still must keep standing. You have to fight and rebel for the people who love you, and the people who care and want you to live. This movie is a must-watch, but definitely watch the first two movies. If you read my other two reviews you will know why I watched this movie as well ... yeah. This is the third movie of the movie series The Hunger Games. This movie could have been better in my opinion. I feel like the movie is just a teaser for the final movie, Mockingjay: Part 2. It is just basically waiting for the action to start in the last movie. I feel like they stretched it out (but lol good marketing plan of separating the last book in two movies lots of teens will see all the movie either way) ;P
In my opinion, Mockingjay Part 1 was an amazing adaptation of the book. It was suspenseful and I can't even begin about the ending-It was sweet torture. I read the whole series and though the books are always better than the movies, I think that Mockingjay part 1 is not even in that category. Just to warn you, I promise you that you will start to scream at the screen at the end of the movie.
