The Help (2011)
Aibileen Clark is a middle-aged African-American maid who has spent her life raising white children and has recently lost her only son; Minny Jackson is an African-American maid who has often offended her employers despite her family's struggles with money and her desperate need for jobs; and Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan is a young white woman who has recently moved back home after graduating college to find out her childhood maid has mysteriously disappeared. These three stories intertwine to explain how life in Jackson, Mississippi revolves around "the help"; yet they are always kept at a certain distance because of racial lines.

- copy+pasteover 12 yearsits based on how people used to treat african americans. it sends a good message to kids and adults that we should never judge people because of thier race , its not just africans its also how we tease chinese and japanesse and many other races.there are some humor in this movie therefore this movie is very very extraordinary(;Soooo sad, makes you reliese how racist the world used to be, and still is. I want to read the book too!I love this movie! I'm currently reading the book, (It has a bit more language) but it almost follows the plot the whole way!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend seeing the movie or reading the book because its truly inspiring and you would understand how people were treated years ago.I loved it. Its more for older kids. But a very good movie to watch with your mom. I cried. and its rare for me to cry in movies about humans.
