I watched the movie and read the book, too. It's about some siblings find out a wadrobe that people could travel to another place. It's a little bit scary and sad when the majestic lion was dead. Loved it! Recommended to 7 to 12 years old.

During the World War II bombings of London, four English siblings are sent to a country house where they will be safe. One day Lucy finds a wardrobe that transports her to a magical world called Narnia. After coming back, she soon returns to Narnia with her brothers, Peter and Edmund, and her sister, Susan. There they join the magical lion, Aslan, in the fight against the evil White Witch, Jadis. I love this movie and highly recommend it!

This is a great movie and so much better than the second/third! It was also based on Christianity which is definitely a plus side!🦁
