This movie is very advencherous and funny but mostly funny. I would recommend reading the book first. The movie is VERY different from the book.

I liked it but since I've read the book I know that they cut a lot out to make the movie shorter. They also missed small but funny details from the scenes they did keep. It could've been a little better, especially since there may be kids like me that were eager to see the movie. I hope the next ones are better.

I myself think that books based off of movies are merely a novelty. Don't get me wrong, It's nice to know that such a large amount of people like a book so much so as movie producers took the opportunity to make money off of it. Sure, sometimes the movies depict it well, but it's only from the point of view of the movie producers and director. In no way, by all means, is this meant to replace the book. So, to those of you who like the movie, there's nothing wrong with that. Same to the people who dislike it. It's an opinion, which shouldn't be governed by 'right' or 'wrong'. ~~Catbug

@v154 I agree. That has to be the thing that deterred me most from the movie. Though this might contradict to what I had said earlier, I still think the actress playing her part (Alex Daddario if I'm not mistaken?) could've at least worn a wig.

I didn't like the movie because I thought it didn't do a good job at all following the book. The book was better and is alot more entertaining. They could have done a better job of following the plot line also.
