- "En grade! Thrust! Develop! Recover!"-Jenny Grogan. Marley and Me is a beautiful family movie about a mischevious dog named Marley. John and Jenny Grogan decide to start their family by getting a puppy. When John surprises Jenny by taking her to choose a puppy for her birthday, they fall in love with Marley and bring him home. But owning a puppy isn't easy. Marley takes up the habits of drinking out of toilet bowls, destroying furniture and eating almost anything. John and Jenny try to train him, but he is kicked out of the training school. As Marley grows, the Grogan family does as well. Marley is a much loved pet of the family, but destroys almost everything. This is a movie that brings tears to my eyes every time I see it and I can really relate to this film because I have a small pup too. I rate this movie a 9 out of 10 and recommend it for an audience of 8+

- I have always loved books and movies about dogs, and after watching Marley and Me, it reminds me why. John and Jenny Grogan decide to start their family by getting a puppy. They fall in love with Marley and bring him home. John has all these memories of such well behaved dogs that walk beside their owners without a leash, and have amazing manners. Marley is not like that at all. They try to train Marley, but Marley stays his crazy self. As Marley grows, their family grows also. The family of three reaches six. As John. Jenny, and the kids grow older, Marley teaches them some unforgettable life lessons about love and family. I love this film, and could watch it all the time. I recommend Marley and Me to boys and girls ages 7+.
